Cooking class with Deborah Posser

I really enjoy the fun of this !!! I have never gone for a cooking class before. I learn’t so much. We learnt how to make our own wraps and used fresh ingredients from Deborahs garden. What fun !!!  The 3 hours went by so quickly. What an inspiration Deborah is, her knowledge on healthy eating and cooking is astonishing. And wow you should see her own veggie garden is one you can only dream of.

She taught us how important it is to have a connection with food, conscious cooking.

Spend time in the kitchen with the kids and bring in the whole family when cooking.  Meal time should be a community effort. Brings  the love into the meal. Make supper time an amazing ritual where you can communicate with each and share and connect with each other.  Food is the primal need in the home. We all need food and it is the best way to connect with each.

We need to honour our bodies and nurture them with good nutritious food so that we are strong and healthy as we age.  Feeding your body well is a love for your soul. Preparing food has a whole story around the meal.

All ingredients were collected from her garden.

So what we prepared were wraps:

Gluten Free 4 minute wrap.

Ingredients:
(per wrap)

2 heaped dessert spoons of chickpea flour
Salt and pepper to taste
About 2 tablespoons water

Method:

In a bowl, mix flour, spices and the water together. The consistency must be thick-ish, runny.
In a frying pan, melt some coconut oil and make sure the pan is hot.
Pour the mixture on the hot pan. Cook on both sides.

Top with your favourite pate, salad leaves and sprouts.

You can also make a herb flavor, a curry flavor, garlic falvor and also a onion flavor.

Feel free to add any vegetables you feel like.
